Discover the charm of southern Beaujolais, often called the "Tuscany of France," with its rolling hills and picturesque hilltop villages. Just north of Lyon, venture into this lush, hilly region, known for its famed Beaujolais Nouveau wine and golden-stone architecture.
Join your driver-guide on a cultural and gourmet adventure, including an introduction to wine and a tasting session with a local winemaker. Travel through scenic landscapes where villages glow in warm golden stones.
Relish a wine-tasting session amid the vineyards, savoring two distinct wines paired with a local pastry, while learning about the “terroir” that makes each wine unique. Continue to Oingt, a 12th-century village listed as one of France’s Most Beautiful Villages, and stroll its medieval streets.
End your tour at a family-owned winery where the friendly winemaker shares his craft and offers a tasting with a traditional Lyon “mâchon” of local cold meats and cheeses.
